Daily Goals

Often goals are thought of as grand targets you aim to achieve a significant period of time. However, it can also be useful to set simple goals for yourself each morning as to what you hope to achieve over the day. If done in a sensible way this can help you to:

- Feel more in control over what you do and don't do in the day
- Manage potential stresses
- Achieve a better life balance.

If you are setting daily goals, then you may find the following simple guidelines helpful:

  • Set 3-5 goals you want to achieve - don't overdo it!
  • Make sure your goals are achievable
  • Focus on achieving priorities
  • Include in your goals, time to do something relaxing as well as tasks that are essential so that there is some balance.
