5 Tips for a Successful New Year's Resolution

If you are thinking of creating a New Year's Resolution here are 5 tips to bear in mind:

1. Focus your New Year's resolution on an area of your life which you want to make into a priority.
2. Create a resolution which if followed has a good chance of improving that area of your life.
3. Make your resolution an action that is achievable and realistic.
4. Monitor your progress and if necessary tweak your resolution to improve it.
5. If you slip up, don't beat yourself up but get back on track.
