Digital Detox

A Digital Detox is defined as:

"A period of time during which a person refrains from using electronic devices such as smartphones or computers, regarded as an opportunity to reduce stress or focus on social interaction in the physical world" [Definition from http://www.oxforddictionaries.com].

If you find that you are frequently diverted from
  • Concentrating on what other people are saying or
  • Doing activities that you might enjoy or that might be worthile
because you are checking your emails or your social networking accounts or randomly searching online on computer or smartphone, then maybe it is time for you to take a digital detox! This might be a week's holiday where you leave your technological devices at home or it might just mean setting aside certain times of the day or periods when you choose to leave the devices alone!
Try it and see if it helps you to relax and enjoy your life!
