Do you need to employ a psychotherapist to find out why you suffer from low self-esteem?
I would say not usually! The chances are you know where your low self-esteem came from or can identify it with a litte bit of reflection.
But understanding where it came from is not the same as being able to do something about it. The link below discusses low self-esteem a bit further and gives a suggestion as to how you might start to improve your self-esteem:
