Is Medication or CBT Better for Social Anxiety?

According to a meta analysis of recent research collecting and analysing data involving 13,164 participants from 101 clinical trials, CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) is more effective than medication for the treatment of social anxiety and can have lasting effects long after the treatments has stopped wheareas any improvements from medication stop when the treatments stops it seems. CBT was found to be the most effective of the several different types of talk therapy compared.
