Creating Time for Yourself

It is very easy to get caught in a cycle where you are rushing around from task to task or appointment to appointment, feeling that you have no time to stop. This can lead to high levels of mental and physical stress.

3 things you can try in order to help create a bit of time for yourself to relax and unwind or to do things for yourself or that you enjoy are:

1. Prioritise tasks, focus on completing the most important ones then take a break
2. Commit to spending a set amount of time per day or per week doing something that you want to do
3. Start politely but firmly saying No  to requests by others for you to do things which are not really essential or not your responsibility and for which you don't have time.
