Focusing on Enjoyment

I saw reports in the media today that young people now tend to spend money on enjoyable experiences rather than on buying things. There is possibly something we could learn from this. Rather than accumulating expensive goods that you may or may not use or benefit from, how about giving some time to doing things that you want to do. It may be more rewarding.

Of course this doesn't necessarily mean you have to spend money. Some of the things you most enjoy such as spending time with people or walking in the countryside or doing creative pastimes, may cost little or nothing, depending on what you choose.

Think about what you are likely to do over the next few days. Are there some more enjoyable activities you could do which you can reasonably make time for? Why not make a commitment to including some of them in your schedule? Life is too short to waste.
